Kairos: the right or opportune moment
It can be a challenge to get to know a person through a website… but hopefully you can get a feel for who I am and what I am about by browsing this site. I really enjoy life, getting to know people and finding out who they are. I enjoy making people smile and laugh. I see the world through the lens of a camera, so what some may say is unappealing; I see the beauty within. Beauty is more than an outward appearance; it is an inward glow that cannot be manufactured. Everything in life tells a story, and as a photographer I have a level of discretion to focus on bringing out the best in a person to tell their story.
This is exactly why I named my photography business Art of Kairos.
The Art of Kairos means that I artistically capture special moments of true emotion and inner beauty. The word Kairos is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment. This exemplifies what a good photograph does: capture the moment of true emotion and evoke those same emotions years later. I love creatively and artistically capturing those heartfelt moments.
